They say a bright smile is a recipe for motivation. That’s why it’s mandatory to maintain good oral health. The impact of oral diseases ranges from extreme sickness affecting internal organs of the body to having a negative effect on the quality of life.

Each one of us have encountered tooth ache and mouth ulcers at some point or the other. Dental problems can seriously affect our daily food intake. Oral appearance affects our morale, ability to interact with others and contributes in how people judge us. In some companies in the corporate sector, good dental appearance is a must.

Dry Mouth

Dry mouth is very common amongst adults, especially women. It is characterised by less formation of saliva which is necessary in chewing food and speaking. These techniques can help in proper formation of saliva:

  1. Drink water frequently and at night keep a water bottle close.
  2. Stimulate the flow of saliva by eating apples, celery, carrots, candies, chewing gums etc.
  3. Consult your dentist if the condition doesn’t improve.
